The Undergraduate Program in Agrotechnology was established to address global challenges related to the increasing demand for food and energy as well as the declining quality of the environment caused by human activities. By mastering agricultural science and technology, this program prepares human resources who are competent in optimizing plant growth to sustainably increase production. The Agrotechnology Study Program is the result of the restructuring of the Agronomy and Soil Science Study Programs, based on the Decree of the Directorate General of Higher Education No. 163/Dikti/KEP/2007. Currently, the program has been accredited “Excellent” by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) through Decree No. 685/SK/BAN-PT/Ak/S/III/2024.
