The Faculty of Agriculture of the National Development University "Veteran" Yogyakarta (UPNVY) officially released six students to participate in the International Internship Program Batch I at Yukiguni Maitake Co., Ltd., Japan. This six-month program represents a concrete step by the faculty to expand international opportunities for students.

The students selected for this program are Clarissa Aufa Shabrina, Bintan Nafisatu Kamila, Princessa Yiska Evelyn, Laily Muarrofatun Nihayah, Nadia Azzahra Lesmana, and Novia Fitri Nurkhasanah.

Through this program, participants will gain hands-on work experience in mushroom cultivation and processing, while also gaining a closer understanding of Japanese work culture. It is hoped that this valuable experience will enhance students' knowledge, skills, and competitiveness in the workplace, both nationally and internationally.

The Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture at UPNVY stated that this international internship program demonstrates the university's commitment to supporting student competency development. "We hope this event runs smoothly and is successful, and can inspire other students to boldly take advantage of international opportunities," he said.

This initiative is expected to be the starting point for more similar programs in the future. This way, more UPNVY Faculty of Agriculture students will have the opportunity to gain knowledge and work experience abroad.
