A total of 199 students from the Faculty of Agriculture at UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta officially earned their bachelor's degrees after participating in the Period I Graduation Ceremony for the 2025/2026 Academic Year on Thursday, September 18, 2025. The solemn event was held in the faculty’s seminar room, attended by faculty leaders, lecturers, and all graduating students.

The Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Eko Amiadji, S.P., M.P., reported that the 199 graduates consisted of 107 students from the Agrotechnology Department, 39 from the Soil Science Department, and 53 from the Agribusiness Department. The Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Dr. Ir. Budi Widayanto, M.Si., delivered a welcoming speech, offering congratulations and inspirational messages to the new graduates. The graduation and a symbolic handover of certificates were conducted by the head of each respective department.

The event also included a special moment to honor two outstanding students. You Vanca Windiani Naibaho from the Agribusiness Department was recognized as the fastest graduate, completing her studies in 3 years, 11 months, and 8 days. Meanwhile, Dinda Okta Milandini, also from the Agribusiness Department, achieved the highest GPA of 3.97.

Representing her peers, You Vanca Windiani Naibaho delivered a heartfelt speech. An emotional and unifying atmosphere was created with a poetry reading by Alim Nuur Huda (Agrotechnology) and a collective singing of the song "Sampai Jumpa" by Endank Soekamti, performed by the graduates.

To equip the new graduates for their professional lives, a special session was held featuring a talk and discussion with alumnus Mr. Rudita Prasetya, S.P., from PT Tani Murni Indonesia. The 2004 Agronomy graduate shared his experiences and insights into the professional world. The event concluded with a prayer and a group photo session, immortalizing this historic moment for the graduates. (DA)
